Celebrity Sighting

This may turn into a celebrity column...here you will see Alan White of "Whyte". Popular musical act on board. Very handsome. (He told me to say that.)

Love to all!

Auntie Ronni told me about the Beatle Boys when we went out to dinner the other night. She said they were really good. Maybe you can get a cd if you're "in" with the band, huh?

Don't know that I'd call him Very Handsome though...Rob has nothing to fear.

Oh, Em passed the 3rd level swim class yesterday! This was the one the instructor said no one passes on their first try. Well, she proved them wrong. Now we have a few weeks off and they both start classes at N. Park middle of June.

We saw little Ozzie today, and he's very cute. He's a good little dog. A little bigger than Tori, and she was scared to death of him. But he's good with the kids and really calm for a puppy.

Gotta run. Love to all,
Auntie J.

Haha...yeah that is one of the Beatles boys. I'll post the other one too when I get a good shot.

Congrats on the swim test EM!! You're a rockstar!

I can't wait to meet Ozzie and see if he and Lucy get along. She's a firecracker...haha.

Tonight I have the night off and I'm going for dinner at the Pinnacle Grill (fancy-ish) with my roomate and a girl named Ineke who is a fourth officer. It's formal night so we are all dolled up, and after dinner we are going to the show. Yippee! What a fun night. I am going to miss this when I get home. A night in front of the telly isn't quite the same.

Let's see...tomorrow we are in Ketchikan but I have IPM so I'll be sleeping in and then working in the afternoon. Next cruise I'm back on teenagers which is fine, I get to sleep later but also work later. 80 kids on board next cruise! Yikes!! We are getting 2 new youth staff when we get to Seattle, so hopefully they will be really cool. Only 5 more weeks for me and then I guess I really do have to go home.

Okay time for dinner, love you!

Ame,

You keep mentioning that you have IPM. What is that? Sounds like a disease or something, but I know it's not. Glad to see that you're having fun. You'll have plenty of stories to tell your grandkids, eh?

I agree w/AJ. How much did you get paid to say he was handsome? Hope he doesn't read this. Don't worry Rob. Interestging tatoo he has on his left bicept. Very colorful.

We're going to Great America today. We're using a Give Kids The World passport that gets us into many amusement parks around the country; so: free admission! Kind of a late B-day gift for me. Hope it doesn't rain too much.

Luv y'all!

Alan IS white! Almost clear.Perhaps you should post a more flattering picture of him. ('m trying to be polite). He has nice hair color...Are there 2 Beatle Boys? There were 4 original Beatles...do they play Beatle music? Are they even English? Why do they call themselves the Beatle Boys...I must have missed the memo-again. Love Auntie La

they arent actually called the beatles boys...they are called "whyte" but they do beatles covers. they are really really good actually. at their show last night people wouldnt let them off stage, they did like 5 encores before the cruise director told everyone they had to leave! anyway alan is my friend so please, no more criticisms of his appearance, ok?

IPM means in port manning, which just means i am not allowed to get off the ship that day. a certain number of crew must be on board at all times in case of emergency. its not bad, just boring.

im tired, i stayed up till 7am talking and drinking coffee and then slept 7am-noon...my sleep schedule is all messed up these days.

i think ill take a nap before heading to the OB (officers bar). more fun to be had tonight!

Hi all. As you know, we went to G.A. yesterday. Had a blast. It rained for about an hour and all of the good rides were closed during that time. The girls had fun getting soaked and splashing in puddles while AJ and I looked on from a drier vantage point.

Jaimee's favorite ride was the big drop. The ride attendant said he gets about 2 or 3 little kids a day on the ride, but it was the first time he saw one (i.e., Jaimee) go on twice in a row! She loved the feeling of being dropped from 220 feet. However, she did not like American Eagle.

Emilie liked the Wizzer. She and I went on it once, then the whole fam went on it later. That was two rides for Emmie. She did not like the Viper. The look of terror on her face at the pic stop was priceless.

Needless to say, I went on Raging Bull alone. AJ and I took turns on Superman while the other waited with the girls. Very interesting ride. Lots of fun!

We were all grand marshals in their parade. Got to ride in the 69 Chrysler Road Runner convertible and breathe exhaust fumes for about 40 minutes; and we received a large commemorative banner that was printed for us.

Apologies to Alan. I'm sure he's "a very 'nyce' young man". :-)

Love to all!

Amy,
Your flight plan is all made. Uncle Roger showed Grandpa how to do it and Linny gave us the dates.

American Airlines:
Flight #42 Ord 7/26/06 5:00PM
Arrive CDG 7/27/06 8:25AM
Economy Seats 30A, 30B

Flight #41 CDG 8/9/06 2:50PM
Arrive ORD 8/9/06 5:05PM
Economy Seats 12A, 12B

Hope this is OK, it's not too easy without one of you being here to order the flights. When I talked to Theresa she said it would be about 60,000 miles per ticket but at this time of the year it ended up being 100,000 per ticket. Anyway, Linny can stop by to get the paperwork whenever she has time. At least you have info to make your plans by. I'm sure you'll have a great time. (All you have to do is take care of Grandpa and I in our old age...which begins next week!). I'm getting excited for you!
Luv to All........Granny
