Alaska the Beautiful

Here are a few shots for your viewing pleasure, me with Margerie (the glacier) and a random Alaskan mountain, and me in Sitka, Alaska with my new scarf. Love you all a lot!

Amy, Your pictures make us homesick for Alaska. Your scarf will probably be your most treasured posession. Like your jacket too. Jaimee is 'under the weather' for a few days and going to the doctor this afternoon, (temp, stopped up head, etc.).
Sent Mom roses & baby's breath yesterday for her special occasion.
Gotta go....Luv........Granny

Aw hope Jaim feels better soon! I have a cold again but I think I'll probably have it for the rest of my contract. That was nice that you sent mom roses, Rob and I got her flowers too and he hand delivered them for me. What service! So far I really like Alaska but I only went ashore in Sitka. This week I plan to see Juneau and Ketchikan as well. We were in Seattle today but I had to work all day so I didn't go ashore. Maybe next week. I can't believe I only have 4 weeks left. I don't really want to leave yet. I really love being on the ship and I'm going to miss it so much!!!
Well, we got a fresh batch of little ones today so I'll be meeting them in about ten minutes for two hours or fun. Haha. Hope they're good and I don't have to throw anyone overboard.

Love you and see you all soon!

I'm taking another poll. I'm considering extending three extra weeks thru the end of June. What do you all think? I know that you miss me so so so so much but whats three more weeks, right? Opinions please...

Amy, Grandpa and I both say GO FOR IT!! You may never get another chance to do it at these prices,
(woulda, coulda, shoulda). As long as you still have time to get everything done that you need to do before school starts.
Lots of Luv, xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Hey, Ame.

I practivally lived near Seattle for a couple of months. It's a beautiful city. I almost moved there, and would have if I hadn't met AJ. I'd recommend the space needle, and taking the monorail from there to the shopping center at Pine and 5th Ave if you have time. If you have lots of time, walk down Pine towards the shore and walk through the market that should be at the end of the road.

As for the extension, I agree with Granny & Grandpa. Go for it. I'm sure Linny would disagree ;-)

Well, gotta get back to work. CU!

Love y'all!

Linny,
Would love to see you any time!
Glad you had a nice trip this weekend.
Amy,
When do have to decide about the extension? Linny can survive two or three extra weeks without you.

Hi Ame,

I'd have to agree with the majority and say that I think you should stay a few more weeks. We miss you very much, but you never know when you'll get a chance like this again. Can't pass up a great opportunity. (As long as the 25 ft. swells are history.)

Sounds like you're doing well now. Jaimee is feeling much better today than she did last week. Thanks for your concern.

Send more pics of Alaska if you have a chance. Gotta run and get the girls to practice their music. Last week we didn't do much w/Jaimee sick. Gotta crack the whip now.

Love you, Auntie J.
