HAPPY TURKEY DAY!

Hi readers!

Happy Thanksgiving! Did you all eat until your pants didn't fit? I sure did. We had all the usual stuff at our friends Tamara and Pascal's house. I made the stuffing, the green beans and the sweet potato casserole and let me tell you the sweet potatoes turned out fabuloso. I don't think I'm going to look so hot in a bathing suit tomorrow but oh well, it was all so tasty that I think it was worth it. Maybe I'll be singing a different tune when I'm sitting by the pool next to Skinny Linny...hmmm...well, too late now. If you don't know, I'm headed to San Diego tomorrow for a cruise to Mexico with Linny, Auntie Ronni and Uncle Lee. Yay! I'm also so very excited because when I get to Chicago next weekend I'm going to see RENT the movie with my girls. It's such an incredible musical and the movie looks just as good. I get teary eyed every time a preview comes on. It's just SO GOOD. Well lovelies, have a great week and I'll be posting when I get back, maybe in Spanish...haha...

Rob and Lucy, I'll be missing you. Be good!!!

Amy,

Thanks for the phone call yesterday. Have a great time! I know you will all enjoy your cruise. Call me ASAP when you get home. I think that Grandpa and I have oodles of air miles we've never used and we are not sure just how to do it, but Uncle Roger gives air miles to people and if he helps us we might just find that we have enough to get the three of you home for Christmas....no promises but we'll do our best.

Love.............Granny

I do believe "MR ANONYMOUS" has a serious problem. I suggest a gift certificate for counseling as an xmas gift. WHAT IS HIS PROBLEM???

Amy,

Thanks for removing the comments made. Call me and we'll discuss
your trip home for Christmas. It sounded good to me...I just hope it works out. Does Lucy have any objections? Are you all "toasty-brown" from your first day in the Mexican sun? We're freezing here. Had an inch of snow yesterday but it came down like a blizzard. Did Linny come across with the loot or did she use it to buy groceries?

We're going to visit Bill and Grandpa will play with DJ after church tomorrow. Spent the whole day running around looking for a fiber-optic tree, then came home and ordered it on line.

Luv to all.........Granny

We don't speak the same language. I don't understand a thing you say. What has anything got to do with 'Mr. Thorn', and what is that about Rogereno for President? I'm an old lady and in my day we spoke English.

I thought this was Amy's blog and not a place for the random blurbs of those who wish to see their words in "print"? Why do we post comments that have nothing to do with her, her familiy or her friends? Can we please get back to the point?

From here on, I will not respond to those whose idendity is not clearly stated.

Sorry for the clutter, Ame. I look forward to seeing you in a few weeks. Have a great cruise (Linney and Lee and Ronnie, too)!

Love, Unc <8^O

PS: Granny, looks like you're becomming fairly proficient at this blog! Nice job!

Hi Ame! Hope you had a great time (sure you did). Happy Thanksgiving to you, too. All's well here at crazy town. I've been alittle under the weather this week. Today I think I may have the energy to put up the tree, though. Kids all had conferences over the break...I think you Thorn kids got our share of the "brain genes"...oh well. No, they are doing O.K. I've put a new incentive into motion:$ for good test grades. We'll see if it works. Jason came over and went with Uncle Ron and the boys to Lazer Quest. It was great to see him. Been a while. He survived my spaghetti dinner, anyway. Saw the new Harry Potter-loved it. Let me know how Rent is-it does look good. Can't wait to (hopefully) see you at Christmas. Christmas Eve is at Auntie Juls. Did you know? Now you do. Love you! Aunite La
P.S. I would love to accompany you on a ride around the globe...let me know.

To Auntie La.........

That trip offer around the globe was for Amy, Rob & Lucy...from Granny....maybe your 'Granny' will spring for a trip for you and yours!

Hey there. How was the cruise? Can't wait to hear about it. Can you post some pics?

Christmas Eve is at my house. Hope to see you there (here actually). It's mighty cold up here so better pack your long underwear.

Love, Auntie J
