It's sunny in Dublin for the second day in a row! Yippeee!!! So it's been a beautiful weekend here and we've been making the best of it. The past few weekends have been nice, actually. Last Satuday we took Cillian to the beach (see pics) down the road from us...Yesterday Steve and I did the cliff walk around Howth (the area of Dublin where we live...see pics) and today we had a barbecue with Steve's dad, Ruthie, Cillian, Lynn (Steve's other sister) and Johnny (her new baby). We made greek salad, corn on the cob, baked potatoes and shish ka-bobs (also see pics...haha...I thought I'd be like my dad and send pics of food). Everything else is good. I really like my job and I have nine families for now. They're nice people and I've got my work cut out for me, but I think they're all going to be okay. I've also been going to some trainings and seminars and learning about how things work here, and going to court every now and then. Outside of work I've been really busy, going to hot yoga on Tuesday nights and painting class on Thursday nights. I've been painting a little at home, mostly flowers (for me) and skulls (for Steve). I posted a pic of the "gallery" I'm starting on our bedroom wall. Lots more art to come. Besides that, nothing much going on. We usually babysit one or two nights per week and we just finished watching season one of Deadwood. Have any of you seen it? Go to Blockbuster and get it!! It's so good!!! Although the characters have filthy mouths so watch it after the kids go to bed. Hope everyone is enjoying being back in school. Congrats to Mark, Carrie, Jeff and Katie on the new babies! Post some comments and let me know how things are going. I'm planning a trip home in November for about a week so I'll see you all in a few months. xox

Hi Ame,

Glad to hear from you. The picture from the cliff walk is so beautiful! It would make a fantastic jigsaw puzzle, wouldn't it?

Glad to hear you're keeping busy. Art class sounds like a lot of fun. Like your gallery.

What is "hot" yoga? Do you wear sweats and keep the room at 95?

The weather here has been great for the past 8 days after we had the flood of '08 the weekend before. To top if off, if you haven't already heard, the Cubbies won the division!!! It was pandamonium here at our house on Sat. I'll bet Jaybird is happy - but still have to get to the big game...

K is playing soccer and Gaga & Papa came to see him play Sat. He almost scored a goal - it was sooooo close.

AAAAHH, just noticed the time. I have to run. Have to get out to Bartlett to get my haircut.

Love you and miss you. Can't wait til you visit in Nov. Is Steve coming with?

Take care,
Auntie J.

oh, congrats to K on his almost goal! hot yoga is literally yoga in a heated room, so you sweat out your toxins. i dont wear sweats though, just leggings and a tank top. its good, because its relaxing like regular yoga, but you also feel like youve had a good workout from the sweating...as for november, no, it will just be me. i think he'll probably make his ebut i the spring. say hi to all the munchkins!

Well it's about time you updated this thing. Your hair is mighty long. I didn't notice how long when we were "skyping". I think it's time for a cut. Not to be rude, but you know how I feel about your hair when it's long. OK OK moving on....nice pics. Post more of you and/or Steve...less of food/scenery. That's Dad's job. I am at home with Toe. Had class tonight. It is my second to last class with my cohort. Kind of sad. I love them. I still have the other 2 I am currently enrolled in and then 2 more next month through Nov then I am done. Roll out the barrel, Ronnie. You have not called me today or yesterday....what gives? Call me tomor if you read this before then...I am free til 7pm...prob will run errands during the day and bathe your stinky dog.

Congrats to K for almost scoring a goal! In regards to the Cubs, Jason and I were down there when they clinched....I took some pics on my phone I will try to upload...you can show the kids Auntie J. It was fun...tons of people in the streets but it actually stayed pretty tame for the most part. Kay talk soon....Buy your plane ticket Ame! Miss you...:-(
