I'm BACK!

Back on my blog, that is...sorry folks, I've been super busy with the new job and haven't been online much lately. I really love being YPD (youth program director) and so far everything is going well. I have 5 people on my staff right now and they are all fantastic and do whatever I tell them too. Haha. Last night was fun, I went out again in Victoria, but it was Alan and Steve's last night and I am so sad they are gone. Alan is coming back in 4 weeks but I'll be gone by then...That's the worst part of ship life. Your friends are always leaving. The picture is us in the Viking, that's where I always go in Juneau to play pool. I lost 7 games in a row last week. It wasn't pretty. Oh linny! The shirt I'm wearing is the one that reminds me of you! Well folks, I'm going to lay down for half an hour before heading to work. Love you and miss you all. See you in a few more weeks!!!

Aw sister...that is sad. I cried when I first got to the ship because I missed you too. How do people go thru life without a sister???

Everything is great Linny. We have VBS ending Thursday and we're going to Green Lake Friday for Fourth of July. How are the Thorn's?

Amy you need to start scolding Jason for him not replying or renewing his blog.

And we're going to swimming lessons and it's good. I'm in the 4th level. Jaimee is in the 1st level and she loves it (although she's not getting her face wet).

See ya, Em out (and Jaimee out)

Amy,
Just had a thought...with your birthday coming up soon would you like your gift before you go so that you have some extra $$$$$?
Maybe Linny would too even though she has a way to go till her BD.
You can both let me know. It's only Tuesday and J & E both are all packed for the week-end in Green Lake. Grandpa & I are going Friday as soon as I finish with Rehab (10:30). We'll be back Wednesday for more Rehab on Thursday.
SEE YOU SOON!!!
Luv..........Granny

Hi Ame! Congrats on your new position. That's awesome. You are awesome. Life's been very busy here since school's out. Ron & Ry are always, ALWAYS on the computer. I make them go swim every day to get them out. Hopefully these computer skills will come in very handy some day...Baseball finally ended with Stevie's last game last night-then a pizza party-which was actually fun. We had VBS last week (Sun-Thur). Auntie J and I decorated the church basement for 6 hours last Sat. The theme was 'Treasure Cove'-it was fun but the driving back and forth every night gets very tiring so I'm glad to have it finished now. Sam joined swim team so she's at the pool and in the water by 8AM every day. She's been doing very well with the whole getting up early thing. That was my evil plan...to get her up early. She'd sleep till 11 every day and go to bed at midnight if I let her. Only when school starts back up that won't fly-so I figured this would get her on a better schedule plus she loves to swim... Anyhoo, She will have one swim meet every week through August. Steve still goes to swim lessons (9:15 AM) He's doing good. Moved up a level the first week and only needs to get his arms up higher on his back switches to pass one more level again. He loves to swim also. We are at the pool nearly every day. It opens at 1PM and closes at 4:15PM then we try to go back at night (7 to 9PM) Oz is great. He's such a good boy! He has settled in very well, here. The kids L O V E him. Uncle Ron LOVES him. I guess I am starting to love him a little. Don't get me wrong-I like him alot-to pieces. I really liked my freedom, though. The getting up before I have to and taking him out early and late (then he doesn't do anything, anyway) gets annoying...but he's very cute and fun to have around. He's got me taking him for a long walk (or two or three) every day-so that's good. I also took all the crittters to the dentist and doctor last week for all the 'yearlys'. I AM glad last week is over. Uncle Ron is enjoying his new position. Did I tell you he had gotten a new position? (I'm gonna send this so I don't get 'poofed' off like Linny did on her long entries-then I'll continue...)

OK where was I...new position...U.R.'s company created a new position,"Finishing Coordinator". He got it! No more physical labor, new co. truck, paid days off!, little more dough, gas card (thank heavens-that has always been a huge expense). What a blessing! He's very tired all the time now that he has to multi-task (poor baby) Welcome to my world...So that's been a big change around here, also. Linny, Matt is VERY nice. It was so nice to meet him and yes, he did very well in a house full of all of us! Hang on to that one. No G.L. for the Ondrlas this 4th...We have our niece, Lindsay's H.S. grad. party on Sunday...It's killin us to not go up. Sam went with the Stollers and Gag & Pop. (Lucky-) She was very exceited to be going. She loves that girl time with her cousins! We may go up the following weekend or the one after that. We'll see. The Festival is in town, here. I think we may go to hear the band tonight. You would not belive how many people come out to this thing. It's insane. There are cars parked everywhere-even a few streets past ours. (The Fest is at that park 6 blocks West) Well, gotta get things goin around here. Take care-we'll see you very soon! Love, Auntie La P.S. Never kissed a sea cucumber...

Amy,
We just got back from WI. Took 5 hours instead of 3!! Got a call from your Mom at 6:00 AM. Hank had called her and said that Grandma Sentowski had a heart attack. We are going there in about an hour (after Grandpa rests a little). Had a nice weekend except for tornado warnings and severe thunder storm watches Saturday PM.
The girls were only slightly hysterical. Grandma is OK. We were able to talk to her so hopefully it was mild. Will know more after we get there. On your phhone message I thought you said you were posting more pictures so I came right to the computer instead of unpacking. Maybe I misunderstood you. Will get back to you tomorrow AM.
Luv..........Granny
