Amy, You're making us get 'itchy' to go to Alaska again. We love seeing your pictures. Have fun and let us know as soon as you decide what your plans will be. My sister Vern is leaving on the 26th for three weeks in Europe and I'm getting jealous. told her to be sure to visit the Eagles Nest and the top of the Stein for a view of the sunset.

Amy, I'll be lucky if I can cruise as far as Green Lake by the end of June! It would be nice though.

Okay I did it. I extended till June 30th. I promise it's the last time I'll extend. I'll really come home after that. Haha. The kid counts are super high those last few weeks and the Seattle office was really really happy that I wanted to stay, so hopefully that will help me to get on good contracts in the future. They were kinda desperate for extra help...

I know my sister will not be happy about this news. Please remind her that three weeks is not very long and I will bring her a nice present home from Alaska. Haha.

Love you all a lot!

Sounds like it will work out for the best for all parties (Linny excluded!) We'll take good care of Linny until the end of June. This will just be a test of her endurance.

Great scenery pics. Glad you like the new room mate - that's a plus. No more rough seas? It's been on the cool side here, 50's - 60's, but I think I saw an 80 in the extended forecast last night. Should be nice and toasty by the time you come home.

I'm guessing that these are 7 day cruises for the Alaska stint. What days are you back in Vancouver/Seattle?

Take care, love you, Auntie J.

Linny has been drowning in finals and papers for school and working a million hours at the GVC...poor sister. It's almost summer though. WooHoo!

Em I have some postcards for ya.

I don't think I can fit and Eskimo in my carry on luggage, I'll probably go along the lines of jewelry or something...

How's the knee recovery going?

Raining and cold in Seattle today...hope we get some sun in Juneau this week. My tan is fading fast. Boooo...

Amy,
I graduated from walker to cane to only using the cane when I go out. I'm through with home care therapy and start at out-patient on Monday (3 x a week). He says I'm doing great but it feels worse than last time, but they keep saying everything is fine. We were spoiled with beautiful weather and now have a few cool days. What's the temp up your way? The therapist says I can cook and drive now but I didn't do either before...can surgery make you able to do that? We miss you but are glad you'll get to stay in beautiful Alaska a little while longer. Don't forget my dam cup.

Hi Ame! Guess what-you have a new cousin. His name is Ozzie and he will be 1 in July. He is a Shih-Poo. (Shitzu-Poodle mix). We adopted him from some friends of ours. We got him today. He looks alot like Tori but is Lucy's colors. I still can't believe it. I don't know what came over me...Uncle Ron loves him, the kids live him. I like him alot. Glad you're still having fun and very glad you decided to stay on a while longer. I agree completely with everyone on the subject. The Alaska pics are beautiful! Stay warm-Talk to you later. Linny-Good luck with finals-my kids get out June 7-we gonna go for lunch before then???? Hmmm??? Love to you both! Auntie La

Linny, Wednesday is fine but don't come without a picture of Matt! How is your Mom and Jason,
we don't hear from either one of them.
Amy, What's your weather like? We should have 80 by Saturday. Have you taken anymore senic pictures?
Grandpa & I want to go to Mt. Rushmore as soon as I feel like I can sit in a car for a while, and as soon as I'm through with therapy. I started yesterday as an out-patient and they just about killed me. Justin (my therapist) says knee replacement is one of the toughest therapys (?) to go through. It hurt so much I told him that he was going to have to carry me out to the car. I guess that scared him because he was a little easier then.
Luv to All.............Granny

Hi again. Linny-'dream?'-did you mean nightmare? haha Just havin fun, Granny! The kids are off next Mon & Tues so you could come over here OR we could shoot for the next week...Let me know! How many weeks now, Ame? Went to Granny's with Oz yesturday. Jaim & Em loved him. Granny loved him, Pop seemed to really like him (He's partial to his little fur ball) and Tori was terrified. She wouldn't even look at him! It was so funny. Green Lake should be interesting with the two of them...Well, this is the two weeks of the year that I count how many days left of kid-freedom and try to make the most of my time...XO Auntie La
